Project Description:
This project introduces four new townhomes into Chattanooga’s Southside neighborhood, balancing contemporary design with an emphasis on simplicity, affordability, and livability. Each unit is organized as a three-bedroom, two-bath residence with approximately 1,200 square feet of interior living space.
A defining feature of the project is the generous three-level roof terrace provided for each home. These outdoor spaces are partially covered, extending the usable living area and offering flexible zones for gathering, retreat, and views of the surrounding neighborhood.
The exterior architecture is intentionally monolithic and straightforward, using a restrained material palette of half-height masonry block with fiber cement lap siding above. Large window openings are carefully placed to maximize daylight and visual connection while reinforcing the building’s bold, contemporary character. Bright yellow accent doors introduce a playful contrast, providing identity and warmth within an otherwise minimal composition.
Designed with efficiency in mind, the townhomes prioritize straightforward construction, durable materials, and compact planning to help keep costs attainable without sacrificing design quality. The result is a modern infill project that contributes positively to the evolving Southside fabric while remaining accessible, functional, and distinctly Ally.
