ALLY ARCHITECTURE STUDIO WORKSTATIONS
Project Description
Designed in collaboration with Best Studio, our custom workstations were created specifically for ALLY Architecture’s studio space. The design process centered on balancing privacy and collaboration while ensuring access to natural light and views across the front of the space.
A key goal was to design a system that could adapt to the changing needs of our team. Adjustable partitions provide moments of focus and privacy, while still allowing openness for shared work and conversation. Integrated pin-up boards not only support idea sharing but also help improve the acoustic quality of the studio.
To expand the functionality of the workstations, we incorporated pegboard panels that pair with custom 3D-printed attachments designed in-house. These attachments include hooks for bags, jackets, hard hats, and even planters—turning each desk into a personal and flexible toolset. A portion of the units are sit-stand desks, supporting a healthier and more versatile working environment.
This project reflects our design values: inventive solutions, practical craftsmanship, and a deep focus on how architecture can support the way people work every day—even in our own studio.
